We continually monitor our patients to keep them safe during procedures that require sedation or general anesthesia.
A highly trained veterinarian or veterinary nurse will be the anesthesiologist for your pet’s procedure, and communicate continually with the surgeon, throughout the surgery, and until your pet has fully woken up from the anesthesia. They will constantly assess and chart your pet’s heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs to help decrease anesthetic risk.
In addition to our veterinarians and nurses, we employ imported state of the art monitoring equipment to continually assess your pet during their procedure, and in the recovery period.
We take this extremely seriously, and are committed to be with your pet every step of the way. At CVH your pet will not be left alone!
Please feel free to ask us about our patient monitoring protocol or any concerns you might have about your pet’s procedure.
