There is a lot of controversy about whether it is correct to treat cats that belong in the wild. At CVH we believe that if a pet is in serious need of medical or surgical assistance, it is our duty to provide immediate care. However, our veterinarians will not take on something that we are not trained or equipped to treat.
Although many state that we should deny treatment to prevent these animals being kept as pets, we took an oath to help animals and relieve suffering. Just as an human NGOs provides human medical aid to all, we also believe we are obliged to care and help wherever we can. We focus our love and attention on the living creatures who need our help. We are here to support individual animals, and prevent their suffering, when we are able to do so.
